The Grove family
The Grove Medical Practice is named after three generations of the Grove family who tended to the sick of St Ives. Their careers spanned the introduction of anaesthetics, antibiotics and motorised transport for doctors. They were amongst the first family GPs in the country. Even today, there are descendants practising medicine in the UK, USA, Australia and Vietnam.
