Ted Worts, Ernest Worts (son), 1891
Ted Worts (brother of Wallis Stearn Worts) & son Ernest, 1891.
Ted was a castrator, then licensee of The Dolphin in the late 1880s.
Tragedy hit the family in 1904 when both Ted & Ernest died of illness.

John W Noble is seated left on the grass, aged 17 years. All Saints Rovers were the football club of the Parish Church. They had a first team & reserves playing Saturdays & Thursdays (half day closing).

Five players from St Ives Town FC, 1926. Looks like a 5-a-side team. Front left is Harold Foster of 10 St John's Road. Possibly a Mason middle back.

Albert (Dick) Culpin on the right, possibly Bill Chapman centre. Dick Culpin was a grocer. His shop was in East Street & is now the Welcome Chinese Restaurant.

Scotney's were a timber construction company founded in 1920. In WWII they supplied purpose built prefabricated buildings & special wooden boats for D-day landings. In later years they specialised in packing cases. Competition from the plastics industry caused the firm to close in the mid-1970s.

John 'Baggy' Reynolds, 1935. John was originally a fowl dresser, preparing chickens & the like for sale & consumption. At the time of this photo, he described himself as an 'all-round farm labourer, working at Westwood Farm.

Fanny Bundy (b1873, d1954)) of 45 Little Farthing Close. Fanny had 11 children, 7 of whom survived. With their mother are Phyllis Wright (née Bundy), Violet Rankin (née Bundy) & Jenny Brand (née Bundy).
